The medieval town Svetvinčenat, located in south central Istria, is one of Istrian jewels that has only recently come alive as a tourist destination, especially through various events that take place at extremely attractive historical sites of this town.
The medieval castle of the family Morisini-Grimani in the summer months runs programs in Istraetnojazz festival, and the nearby beautiful main square and surrounding areas are the stage for the traditional Festival of Dance and Nonverbal Theatre.
July brings the scents and flavors of cheese with a cheese festival in August, the beautiful, the city comes alive medieval charm during Medieval Festival, which has as its center events medieval castle Morosini-Grimani. In late autumn, in the Festival of new wine is held, oenological events that collects renowned Croatian winemakers, each with its own innovations.
