More than 400 kilometres of slopes run from one side of the border to the other providing skiers with quite a Mediterranean experience. Montgenevre boasts an ideal geographical position, easy access and is the only French resort connected to the Olympic domain in Sestrieres, Sauze d’Oulx and San Sicario. The TGV train station in Oulx (Italy) or Briancon (France) a 15 minute drive.

Via Lattea
Conveniently located 1860 m, on a hill close to the Italian border, Montgenèvre is an authentic village resort in the Southern Alps.
The ski area is bordered by two slopes: Chalvet and Gondrans, both connected on skis. Its geographical position gives it a very good snow and sunshine due to the Mediterranean climate: 300 days of sunshine per year: enough to enjoy the pleasures of skiing. On its slopes successive tracks lined with larch and pine with wonderful scents and beautiful hilly slopes that offer a horizon on the massive valleys of Oisans, Queyras and of course Italy.
It is the only French station connected to the ski resorts that hosted the alpine events of the Olympics and Para-lympic Torino 2006 (Sestriere, Sauze d'Oulx and San Sicario).

Surrounded by larch trees in the meadow, the sled allows total relaxation and maximum thrills! Guaranteed thrills for young and old, from 1m25 can control its own toboggan! Luge is accessible via the cable car of Chalvet (behind the Tourist Office).
Golf International de Montgenevre (En été)
This is the highest golf course of the French Alps, located at 1850 meters altitude. Open from June to September, 9 holes 3000 meters you walk in the mountains, to conquer steep fairways, often highly technical. The sumptuous landscapes reward courageous, including a breathtaking view of the glaciers of Pelvoux, which rises to almost 4,000 meters.
Note the originality associated with its Italian neighbor Claviere, Montgenèvre golf in summer is the opportunity to play a 18 holes on two horse country!
